The new kid in town.
Every week or so a new type of social media comes out in either website or app form. Many claiming a user experience that "has yet to be experienced", but as much of them comes out, the same number backs down. They're either a sad Facebook knock-off or too complicated for the average joe. But then, here comes Pinterest that is literally rocking the social media world. Pinterest is an outlet where you can "pin" photos that you like into different categories or "boards", as they call it. It's basically a virtual "Vision Board" a la The Secret. Pinterest is gaining so much attention, even business are using it. For businesses that's on the creative side, this social media is a great way to show what your brand is about as oppose to describing it with words.
It's pretty easy to use, except for figuring out who is following you and vice versa but that just may be me. As of right now, it's on an invite-based sign-in but I'm sure you can easily get an invite. Possibly from some of your more obsessed friends? (Shhh...me)
