Thai fever

I've been in such a lovey-dovey mood lately. I don't know why...maybe I'm lonely? But there's this two films that I really, really, really, REALLY enjoyed:

The Love of Siam

I thought this movie was incredibly touching and truly hit home for me. The relationship between Tong and Mew is something that I am looking for. The relationship between Tong and his mother reminds me of my relationship between my mother. AH! Just thinking about it is making me tear up. 

and also, 

A Little Called Love or First Love: 

This two films are just too cute. I don't usually like Asian films unless it's Filipino, but these two Thai films literally sent me to a emotional roller coaster. I was laughing, awe-ing, crying, cursing, wishing, and giggling all through out. I think maybe the lead actor in both films may have influenced my liking.
